Review: Wonderfully tasty pies. Some of the best I have had. I have tried their harvest pumpkin, caramel apple and berry patch. I thought they were all great but my absolute favorite was the berry patch. This pie is wonderful. Go try it!!

Review: Just visited this dairy farm for the first time in many years. It was quite excellent. They have many different flavors ranging from the classics to the exotic, including the flavor I tried, coconut. The ice cream was very good, creamy and had the perfect amount of flavor to it. The price was right, too ,about $2.50 for 2 large scoops in a cup. The ice cream is made by Calder's, so you know it is fresh. They also sell their flavors in half gallon containers, so you can take some home with you. I have to go back and try more flavors :)

Review: Wonderful small brewery in Milan. Excellent microbrewed beers and good (but a little pricy) sandwiches and appetizers. Another nice thing about this place is that it is smoke free.

Review: We went here the other night for the first time in a few months. It has been remodeled and does look nice. They added a few more booths, so that is positive. The salad, bread and overall food was actually quite excellent. The service was extremely fast for a Friday night. The portions were very large and was well worth the cost. We will be returning.

Review: Went here for the first time in a long time last night. They offer a huge amount of ice cream flavors and the prices are great. I paid $2.11 for a single dip superman cone, that was huge and delicious! You get a great value for your money and you are supporting a local business, not a franchise or chain ice cream shop.

Review: The food is good, but it seemed more expensive then what the atmosphere they provide, which basically is a big open bar area. If the food was priced a little lower or they would re-model and put in some booths then maybe I would like it more. I did like that they had a handful of microbrew michigan beers on draft.

Review: The tacos are authentic but everything thing else I would pass on. We went there for lunch a few months ago and either the owner or person working there at the time was not very vocal, never really asked how our food was or said thanks. People notice these things. If you don't treat the customer right then they might not come back!

Review: Tried this place for the first time last night. I would like the atmosphere more if they were playing some music or had tvs on. It was overall too quiet. Chips and salsa were good, but be prepared to ration the salsa being you only get a small bowl. I ordered the California burrito, which looked more like an enchilada when it came out. Food overall was somewhat bland and portion sizes were small for the price you pay. There was also a disclaimer on the menu that they will either charge you for a 2nd bowl of chips and salsa or a 3rd bowl, was not exactly clear. The waiter got my order mixed up with my buddy who went with me. Could be an honest mistake but he could not tell me the difference between the 2 plates of food even though they were obviously different. They need to lower their prices, increase portion sizes and take away the extra chips and salsa charge on the menu. Then they might have a chance.

Review: One of my favorite Mexican Restaurants to dine at in southeast Michigan. I have tried all the mexican restaurants in town (even the newest, Grande Lagos) and none can compare to Vaqueros. Vaqueros has a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Their chicken burrito rosqueto is wondeful. Also their vegetable burrito deluxe is one of the best non meat burritos I have ever had. The California burrito is also gigantic and worth the price. Their chips and salsa are very good as well. I could list a ton more dishes to try but I would need a lot more time :) Their service is always fast and friendly. The inside of the restaurant is always clean and neat. You can always print a buy one get one half off coupon from their website, so you can save some cash. Oh, they have pretty good margaritas and Mexican beers on draft, too!
