I am reluctant to comment on their prices because I don't want them to raise them. However, they are much more reasonable than other clinics in town. We had a Yellow Lab in need of some attention on a Saturday. RRVC was closed on Saturday's at that time and we went to a clinic that was open. Yellow was treated and we were given options with costs for each. Went to RRVC with Yellow on Monday and were given same options at much more reasonable prices. The staff seems to really care about us, our concerns and our pets. Not a 'hurry up' mentality.

I've taken my cat here whenever necessary. I have a 15 year old domestic. I like that they take care of what his current needs are and don't push all the other stuff on me - vaccines, flea control... (he's an indoor). They take care of what needs to be done, quickly, caring, and for the right price. I would recommend and will return if necessary but lets hope not :)

I used to go to Monroe Vet several years ago. They left me frustrated & broke! They couldn't correctly diagnose my dogs hair loss problem, so after a couple hundred dollars later , I went for a second opionion at River Raisin. They diagnosed his "thyroid" problem with the first test! So I transferred all paperwork over to River Raisin & been there ever since! I never felt a "connection" at Monroe Vet like I do at River Raisin. Love everything about this Vet! Quick,caring, friendly, knowledgable staff & Veterinarians! They treat my dogs (Bear & Buddy) like their own. I feel like family when I call or take one of my dogs in there. If you are looking for a GREAT Vet, I definately suggest giving them a try first. They will ALWAYS have my #1 vote!

We love this plaee. We take our three dogs and one cat here, and every time we go, we feel like our animals are well taken care of and the staff truly cares about animals. Also, the prices are very reasonable.

We have bringing our dogs and cat here for years, after getting fed up with Monroe Veterinary Clinic. The staff and doctors there have always been very helpful and kind. When our chihuahua had puppies a couple of years ago, one puppy was barely breathing and we thought for sure he would die. We called them, and although it was close to closing time, they said to bring him in. They were able to give him a shot for his lungs, and some oxygen to get him breathing normally, and also gave us hot water bottles to keep him warm until we could get him home again. And after they stayed late to help us, they did not charge us anything for their services. They genuinely cared and just wanted to save our dog's life. We will never go to another vet again.

I took my cat here on four different occasions...they kept him overnight twice. Not once did that tell me what was wrong with him, instead they insisted that I give him antibiotics, which I did @ $15 every 5 days for a month. It got to the point that my cat was to sick to even walk. I inturn took him somewhere else and within 5 minutes of seeing my cat, the vet knew what was wrong with him. I had to put my cat to sleep half an hour later. Had this place done their job right the first time, I'd still have my cat. I will NEVER go back and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone.

I absolutely love the way I am felt welcome the moment I walk through the door. They have compassion towards my animals and make me feel that I am part of their family, from the receptionists, the technicians and the doctors and checkout. They make me feel like I count.
