This place has excellent bar food and great specials, such as the $1 coney dogs and 40 cent boneless wings. My wife had a steak sandwich of some sort the last time we were there and loved it. The only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars from me is that most people are there to drink, and act accordingly as the evening wears on.

I would have rated a 3, but my husband enjoys eating there. I let out a long sigh when he suggests dinner at Pete's. Food is ok. It's not bad, but not that good either. I tend to have a dumb-founded look on my face when people say they love to eat at Pete's. On the brighter side, it's a great place to have some drinks, relax, play pool (if you don't mind seeing all the people you went to high school with). I'd recommend it for a place to meet friends & have some drinks. But I would not recommend it for dinner.

This is my fav sports bar ever. The food is great, and menu has a lot of variety for a bar. I love Charley P's Tuna and the buffalo shrimp, and Pete's has the best curly fries anywhere I have been........My family has had almost everything on the menu (between the three of us), and we have never had a bad meal. The service is always quick and friendly, and it helps that a game is always on for my sports loving husband! :). I disagree with others that the place is for 21 year olds. I never feel out of place, and neither does my husband. In fact, when I am there, I feel like the crowd is more along my age and older, and I am 32.

I went here once. I just didn't think the food that day was very good at all and it was quite loud.

A pretty good lunch spot, great portions and the food I've had isnt to bad. I used to love it years ago but it seems to be more the young crowd and I'm not 21 anymore. I still have a few friends that swear by the place so I guess its all in what you are looking for. If you have never been it's definatly worth checking out the old car booths are pretty cool.

Food is good-to-great. I only say that because I've never had anything but burgers and wings and those were great. The wings are huge. And all the servings are huge. Get the nacho bell grande (or something along those lines) as an appetizer for two and niether one of you will be that hungry when your meal arrives. I usually go there for drinks, but I also go their for food occationally. The crowd is a mixed crowd, young to old. Service and prices are what you'd want. Family friendly or beer-time friendly. The staff is clean and dressed cleanly. It's one of the few places around that can draw a younger crowd without stooping to some level of indescency, by some opinions.

I used to work in the kitchen at two different times, the food is good, the sandwiches are huge and a great deal, most people come here for the wing night, very busy time-20-30 year old age group. Don't think they compete with our new Buffalo Wild Wings.

Food is average, some a bit overpriced. We have ate dinner at Petes 3-4 times, service depends on how busy they are in resturant... There are nicer places in Monroe, I am not all that impressed with Petes, more of a just 21 crowd.

I love eating at Petes Garage. Their portions are huge, and the prices are very fair. The place is accommodating to if you want to watch a sports game, take the family out, or even just grab a beer.

This is my favorite place to eat in Monroe. They have the best pizza in town. Try the thin crust. Don't forget the fried ice cream.

Pete's Garage is a great place to grab a bite to eat ..... portions are very large though.....all of thier food is great, I have only had one bad experience there and it was with their Burrito .... it was not good at all. Other than that the Blazin' Chicken Dip is fantastic and the Nash Hambler is to die for. If you want a really yummy drink...try the Rum Runner.....Pete's garage is great and I'd recommend anyone to give it a try....
