I have been here a number of times. The last one was kind of okay. It took a while to get waited on as far as ordering. Some of the wait staff is good and some not good at all. I once had dirty silverware that I had to get four different spoons to get a clean one. I was in another time, was seated then sat twenty minutes and no one ever came to the table to ask if we wanted a drink or to take our order. Everybody around us got waited on but we seemed to have been missed totally. We literally got up and left. Usually the food is pretty good, it is just the service that seems to be lacking.

i went to mugsys a while back, and i was very unhappy with the waitstaff. the sign at the front door said "please wait to be seated" so 10 minutes after standing by the door with the cold draft, my friends and i had to seat ourselves, clean our own table from the previous people that sat there with beer bottles and a dirty ashtray that was almost overflowing, and get our own drinks. 3 different waitress's only came to our table to check ids. no one took empty beer bottles or emptied the ashtray that we set at the open end of the table so she would know to take them. i asked for a manager, but no one came. i was completely disgusted!

Mugsy's is a sports bar type atmosphere with awesome food. They are known for their chicken wings, which are some of the biggest and best in town. Try the secret sauce, I love it! Mugsy's turns into a club type atmosphere after 10 p.m., but during lunch and dinner hours it's very quiet and peaceful. They do allow smoking, but it's very controlled - and there is a large non-smoking area. They have daily specials, and excellent home cooked food. Tonight I had an amazing pot-roast dinner with carrots, potatoes and a dinner roll - with french onion soup. Very nice place I will come back to again and again.
