We've been going here for many years. Even though it's a bit of a stretch to get there, we keep going back, because it is simply the best restaurant in Monroe County, and maybe Lucas, Washtenaw and Wayne as well. In all the years we've gone, we have never had a bad meal, the worst would be a 'good meal' the best is simply amazing. I've eaten in every better restaurant in Monroe County, including more than a few that purport to be fine dinning establishments and Frog Leg is simply the place to go when the food, and not $200 tablecloths is more important. It's clear when you order comes, and the bread on the side is fresh baked and herbal, the side dishes are unusual and well thought out and prepared, and the main course is something original and unique that you are in the hands of an organization that really has a passion for delivering great dinning experience. The wait staff is also exceptional, which is as it should be in a great restaurant - I've had better service, at Emeril's in New Orleans for example, but never at prices as reasonable as these. Oh, and if she's in the dinning room, talk to Marie she's a hoot.
