I stopped in Food Town on my way through Monroe today... This place is a DIVE! It is in some serious need of remodeling and definitely new floors... It appeared to be dirty and in very rough condition. I'd personally not do my shopping here.

Although it's not close to my house, this is my favorite grocery store in Monroe. They always have great deals on meats and everyone is really helpful. My favorite part however, is the beer aisle. They have one aisle, both sides, dedicated to beer. You can find beer from several different countries as well as beer from all over the United States. They also have the largest selection of Michigan made beer in Monroe County, and the prices are very good.
